Busy days, but simple pleasures.

We are really fawning over classic cables around here lately. What else would we be doing during a heat wave?

Always looking ahead with your designs which are indeed wonderful.
Your swatch reminds me of a favourite (and old) Alice Starmore aran design (Inishmaan). Not quite the same OXO cable, but close. It ‘s also the same undyed colour as some blue-faced Leicester I’m in the process of spinning for a design. Gets me thinking, as usual…
I think that summer is the best time to knit for winter. In So. Cal. we knit with the A/C on. I have a bag of Shelter nearby just waiting to jump on the needles.
Longing for Autumn…
Lovin’ the cable life.
Looks fabulous. Perfect summer activity for dreaming up new design ideas!
Tell me though, are there any plans in the works for a BT yarns in lace weight? *fingers crossed*
Very diverting! One look at the swatch with cables and my interest in my current project “waffles” a bit. So glad you do what you do!
Jared, need more patterns please, thanks.
Boy did I find the right website. Last month we went camping and up at the 4200 ft elevation in 93 degree heat in Eastern Washington. I sat and knit on my orange alpaca sweater. It was a sideways knit all in cables and since I was on the last bit of the last sleeve most of the project was laying on a stool by my feet. I looked up to see that we were being checked out by a hummingbird! It was mere inches away I could have touched it! It will forever be the hummingbird sweater.
