I’ve had several late nights of swatching recently… searching searching searching for the perfect balance of cables for some new design work. Composing with cables is always easier said than done – balance is everything.
Shelter in "Embers"
I’m still on the path with these, but the jewel-like colors glowing in the lamplight were too seductive – you know I’m a sucker for a good yarn halo.
Loft in "Birdbook"
LOVE Birdbook. NEED something with that all over it! Both are absolutely lovely, though.

Whatever you don’t end up using, just frame it. A gorgeous, cabled, jewel toned, mosaic with a beautifully lamplit halo. *sigh*
These are both making me crazy! I cannot wait to see what they will become.
I like the cables in birdbook better. The chunckiness appeals to me.
Lovely samples Jared. I know they’re utilitarian, but having these little morsels around makes a person happy. Samples are my fave.

I would do one Birdbook cable with the center cable on the Embers swatch on either side. But . . . it would depend on what the final product is to be.

I love the glow of the colors in the Embers colorway. But both are gorgeous. You could totally make a swatch blanket
