lovely.
Just too beautiful!
Incredible shots – the light is magical.
It’s hard to believe that one part of the planet could offer up so many different looks – from the chilly grey glaciers to the warm sunsets to the gorgeous green moss. Thanks for sharing your photos – they’re great!
Amazing photos.
Stunning…there are certain places on our lovely planet that exude magical light at every turn…
Alaska is so beautiful at your photo. Knitting at scenery like this must be very interesting.

Was this the Inside Passage? Certainly looks like it! Cruised that area a few years ago, hiked the land, saw bears and moose and whales galore — it was amazing. Always wanted to go back and, seeing these pics, I know I must!
I wanted to get in touch with you so badly prior to your planning of this trip to see if you wanted to add a phase! My family lives in Seldovia (across the bay from Homer) and we are in the beginning phases of planning a knitting retreat. It is a coastal fishing “village” with wonderful facilities. To bad I was not better prepared. Maybe next time. I am glad you and your camera enjoyed your trip! Your photos are amazing.
Oh, those photographs are all truly gorgeous! I love all the different hues of light and the changing scenery…beautiful!
You captured the beauty of that state!
Your photographs are breath taking!. Alaska is a beautiful state. I have never been to the Inland passage. I look forward to visiting someday again. Thank you for sharing!
Aaaahhh… here, eastern Europe …. 35 Celzius degrees !!!
So these photo just feels good….
Why do I not live in Alaska?
Is that a whale in the fifth image? A little to the right, I swear I see a fin.

Absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for sharing! What a wonderful place to truly relax (and start to work on fall knits, hopefully?)…
Gorgeous photos!
I’m so glad you enjoyed our lovely state – it truly is incredible. I hope you’ll have another visit which will allow you to explore even more.
Someday I too, would like to use the words “I just returned from our Alaskan Knitting Cruise” as the opening lines in my blog!
Oh, I wish I had paid closer attention to your teaching events. I would have loved to have joined in. I do hope you’ll come back to Alaska and perhaps stay on the mainland. There is many a knitter here and there who love to attend one of your classes, I’m sure. Great photos.
I love your photos of Alaskan cruise. The photos bring Alaska up close, even the deep ocean & gigantic mountains. My father told me once I must go to Alaska.I hope to go as you did.

Wow! Beautiful and breath taking landscapes!;)
Hey… I have pictures to match those! I was on a cruise the week before you. And on that cruise I was pretty much the ONLY knitter , at least in public. I did get to go to a yarn shop called ” The Point” in Juneau that the owner informed me I missed the knitting Cruise and as she admired my Quincy hat she informed me that you where one of the teachers…. Darn…… Leave it to me to pick the wrong cruise . So…. Just wanted to let you know that that hat worked perfect for my Alaskian vacation so thanks… And I hope you had as good of time as I did
So back to knitin…….

I am not at all in the knitting business but could well imagine to join my wife for something called an “Alaskan Knitting Tour”. Is there someone who offers a package? Or is it just that I have to go with my wife to Alaska and let her do the knitting there?
Some of these pictures are superb. Breath taking in fact!
Home! I miss it so much. Thanks for the awesome pictures.
Beautiful pictures, and so jealous! I can’t wait to participate in one of those knitting cruises! It’s on my bucket list!

Wow………………..and there was knitting too?……..i’d have dropped all my stitches!!!
Fabulous photos, amazing light, stunning views. Thanks for sharing your experience with us,
Wow, I’m so jealous! Firstly because I’ve always wanted to go and it looks so beautiful, secondly because your photos are so amazing!
As much as Liat sent me over to take another look around, I belong to your feed and love it. I would not have to be an avid knitter, yearning for a “fix” in visual stimulation to appreciate or to find your site. The artistic qualities of your site, your staff…. ohhh this Libra LOVES the photographs, the visions you create here. Your eye for art inspries me.
I am smack dab in the middle of the US, having gone to school in New York and my man is from Brooklyn! And there would be a question as to why I would be drawn to you??
Have a blessed and joyous day! Thank you for all you give me!
Was dropping by coming from Liat at KNITFreedom.
Just want to say : I love these photographs of Alaska!!! Totally amazing. Always wanted to one day visit there, but now I really want to.
All the knitwear I’ve seen so far is absolutely gorgeous! And all so well photographed. Think this will be one of my favourite knitting website (bookmarked already).
From the Netherlands with love,
